The Light Shineth in darkness

And God saw the light that it was good and God divided the light from the darkness  Genesis 1 verse 4

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him; and without Him nothing was made. In Him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. John 1 verses 1 to 5

For God who commanded the light to shine out of darkness  hath shined in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ A light to lighten the Gentiles and the glory of Thy people Israel  In Him was life and the life was the light of men and the light shineth in darkness and the darkness comprehended it not.  

2 Corinthians 4 verse 6  Luke 2 verse 32 John 1 verses 4 and 5 

There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came  for a witness to bear witness of the Light  that all men through him might believe, he was not  that Light but was sent to bear witness of that Light That was the true Light which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.  John 1 verses 6 to 9

 

Then spake Jesus again unto them saying,I am the light of the world he that followeth  me shall not walk in darkness  but shall have the light of life.  

I am come a light into the world that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness 

But if we walk in the light as He is in the light  we have fellowship one with another and The Blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin. 

John 8 verse 12   John 12 verse 46 1 John 1 verse 7 

 

The people which sat in darkness saw great light  and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up.  Matthew 4 verse 16 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ Who is the image of God should shine unto them.  For we preach not ourselves but Christ Jesus the Lord and ourselves the servants for Christ Jesus sake. For God Who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ  

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels that the excellency of the power may be of God  and not of us 2 Corinthians 4 verses 4 to 7

The Word of God enlightens and is  nourishment to the Mind body Spirit and Soul Christ the way the truth the life and the  light unto everlasting life in Abba Father The  Almighty God.

But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.1 Thessalonians 5 verses 1 to 7    Again a new commandment I write  unto you which thing is true  in Him and in you because the darkness is past and the true light shineth.  John 1 verse 9 We  have also a more sure word of prophecy where unto  ye do well that ye take heed as unto a light that shineth in a dark place until the day dawn and the day star arise in your hearts  2 Peter 1 verse 19

O send out Thy light and Thy truth let them lead me let them bring me unto Thy Holy Hill and to Thy Tabernacles  Psalm 43 verse 3
