To listen and ad hear with pleasure
Shamai
The Shema
Hear O Israel the Lord our God is one Lord and thou love The Lord Thy God with all thine heart and with all thy soul and with all thy might
And these words which I command thee this day be in thine heart
And thou teach them diligently unto thy children and talk of them when thou sittest in thy house
When thou walkest by thy way
When thou liest down and when thou riseth up
Deuteronomy 6 verses 4 to 7
Love The Most High
Hear and Obey The Most High
With Pleasure
Thou fear The Most High Thy God
Him Thou serve and to Him thou cleave and swear by His Name.
He is thy praise and He is Thy God
And thou bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they be as frontlets between thine eyes. And thou write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.
And it be, when the Lord thy God have brought thee into the land which He sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give thee great and goodly cities, which thou buildedst not,
And houses full of all good things, which thou filledst not, and wells digged, which thou diggedst not, vineyards and olive trees, which thou plantedst not; when thou have eaten and be full;
Then beware lest thou forget the Lord, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.
Thou fear the Lord thy God, and serve Him, and swear by His Name. Ye not go after other gods, of the gods of the people which are round about you;
For the Lord thy God is a Jealous God among you lest the anger of the Lord Thy God be kindled against thee, and destroy thee from off the face of the earth.
Ye not tempt the Lord your God, as ye tempted Him in Massah.
Ye diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, and His testimonies, and His statutes, which He hath commanded thee.
And thou do that which is right and good in the sight of the Lord: that it may be well with thee, and that thou mayest go in and possess the good land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers.
To cast out all thine enemies from before thee, as the Lord hath spoken.
And when thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What mean the testimonies, and the statutes, and the judgments, which the Lord our God hath commanded you?
Then thou say unto thy son, We were Pharaoh's bondmen in Egypt; and the LORD brought us out of Egypt with a Mighty Hand
And the Lord shewed signs and wonders, great and sore, upon Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his household, before our eyes:
And He brought us out from thence, that He might bring us in, to give us the land which He sware unto our fathers.
And the Lord commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the Lord our God, for our good always, that He might preserve us alive, as it is at this day.
And it be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the Lord our God, as He hath commanded us.
Deuteronomy 6
And God spoke all these words:
I Am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.
You have no other gods before Me
You not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in the heavens above, on the earth below, or in the waters beneath.
Yea not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, Am a jealous God,
visiting the iniquity of the fathers on their children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me and showing loving devotion to a thousand generations of those who love Me and keep My commandments.
You not take The Name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not leave anyone unpunished who takes His Name in vain.
Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy.
Six days you labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God, on which you must not do any work neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your manservant or maidservant or livestock, nor the foreigner within your gates.
For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth and the sea and all that is in them, but on the seventh day He rested. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and set it apart as holy.
Honor your father and mother, so that your days may be long in the land that the LORD your God is giving you.
You not bear false witness against your neighbor
You not covet your neighbor’s house. You not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his manservant or maidservant, or his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.”
Exodus 20 verses 1 to 17
This book of the law not depart out of thy mouth; but thou meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou make thy way prosperous, and then thou have good success.
Joshua 1 verse 8
